The ATCNQ is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that trains apprentices on a variety of trades. They also have a school component for Year 11 and 12 students to complete their QCE at the same time as they begin their trade apprenticeship.

We are looking for an eLearning Coordinator to replace me.

There are three main aspects of this role:

+Developing online content to put in Moodle for students to use.
Teaching facilitators to develop content. Eventually the facilitators will do the development, and the Coordinator will review and provide guidance/ideas.

+Shaping the strategic direction of eLearning for the organisation.

+Providing advice and guidance to management etc.

eLearning is still fairly new in the organisation (about a year), so you'll have a lot of control over how things develop and where we go long-term. It's a very exciting, dynamic, changing organisation.

Townsville is a beautiful, sunny town. We only get about 60 days of rain a year. There's fabulous beaches, and it's small enough to drive anywhere. The shopping is a bit of a downer (the opening hours are pretty abysmal on Sundays). But if you're looking for a relaxed, laid back place to live this is it.
