The Recovery School District of New Orleans is looking for highly qualified candidates who have demonstrated experience working in small urban high schools with proven ability to increase instructional rigor and relevance.

Selected candidates could be expected to begin January 2010.

Applicants should be able to:
Provide energetic, engaged leadership via strong administrative, strategic planning and communication skills.
Provide quality instructional leadership by monitoring curriculum development, overseeing instruction & improving student performance through the evaluation of data.
Provide ongoing professional & staff development.
Demonstrate experience implementing school budgets and developing innovative strategies for maximizing school resources.
Collaborate with staff, parents, and students to foster a school culture that upholds the academic, safety, discipline, and school climate standards set by the district.

Qualified candidates must have:
Certification in School Leadership and Administration
Minimum 5-years experience
